Meet Mandy

My career has always centred around stories, first as an actor, then leading a youth theatre company, and later as a teacher. Those experiences continue to shape the way I work today, helping me listen with curiosity, compassion and an appreciation that every person's story is unique.

Over the years, I've become increasingly curious about the ways our experiences and relationships shape who we are. It's a privilege to support individuals and couples as they begin to make sense of those experiences, understand themselves and each other more deeply and move forward with greater clarity.

Alongside my private practice, I work with adults through a mental health charity. I also have previous experience supporting young people aged 12–25, and my current practice focuses on adults and couples. While therapy often explores difficult experiences, it doesn't always have to feel heavy. When it feels appropriate, there can also be moments of humour, creativity and hope. Many people find that simply having the time and space to pause, reflect and feel truly listened to is something they haven't experienced before.

Together we might explore:

  • relationship difficulties

  • recovering from painful relationships or loss

  • anxiety, stress or feeling overwhelmed

  • major life changes

  • understanding neurodivergence

  • making sense of past experiences

  • developing a deeper understanding of yourself
