Couples and Relationship Therapy
I work with couples and intimate partners to strengthen connection, improve communication and better understand the emotions that arise in relationships.
Even strong relationships experience difficult seasons. When communication becomes difficult, conflict feels repetitive, or you begin to feel disconnected from one another, it can be hard to know how to move forward. Couples therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what's happening beneath the surface of your relationship and begin listening to each other differently.
My role isn't to decide who's right or wrong or to take sides. Instead, I'll help you explore the patterns that have developed between you, creating space for both of you to feel heard, understood and able to express what you need from the relationship.
Some couples come because they're facing a particular crisis, while others simply want to strengthen their relationship before problems become more deeply rooted. Together we'll explore how you communicate, what happens when conflict arises, and what helps each of you feel valued, understood and emotionally connected. As you begin to recognise these patterns, new ways of relating to one another often emerge.
No two relationships are the same. I take time to understand your experiences, your strengths and what each of you hopes might feel different, so that our work reflects your relationship rather than following a set formula. We work at a pace that feels comfortable, creating space for honest conversation and meaningful change.
Sessions are available online or from my private garden room between Cambridge and Haverhill. If you're wondering whether couples therapy could help, I'd be happy to talk with you about what you're hoping for and whether working together feels like the right fit.
