Online and face to face counselling near Cambridge

I offer individual counselling and relationship therapy in a calm, supportive setting. Sessions are available online or face-to-face in the Cambridge area. I also offer walk and talk counselling for individuals who find it helpful to talk while spending time outdoors.

Whether you are going through a difficult time, feeling overwhelmed, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, counselling can provide a space to pause, reflect and be heard.

Hi, I’m Mandy, a qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I offer a safe and supportive space for individuals and couples, drawing on my background in teaching and youth work to bring empathy and understanding to my practice. I provide online, face to face and walk and talk sessions in the Cambridge area.

    Many people feel nervous before their first session – this is completely normal.

  • You’re welcome to get in touch by email or through the contact form. We can arrange an initial session or have a short conversation first if you would like to ask any questions.

  • This varies depending on your needs.

    Some people come for short-term counselling (6–12 sessions), while others prefer longer-term therapy to explore deeper issues.

    We will review progress regularly and decide together what feels helpful.

  • The first session is a chance to:

    • talk about what brings you to therapy

    • discuss what you would like help with

    • ask questions about the process

    • see if you feel comfortable working together

    There is no pressure to commit to ongoing sessions after the first meeting.

  • Yes. Sessions are available online as well as face-to-face in the Cambridge area. Online counselling can offer flexibility and works well for many people.

  • Couples/relationship counselling provides a space for partners to talk openly about their relationship with the support of a neutral professional.

    It can help to:

    • improve communication

    • resolve conflict

    • rebuild trust

    • understand relationship patterns

    • navigate major life changes

    Relationships can include couples, intimate relationships, parent/child.

  • I ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

    Sessions cancelled with less notice are usually charged in full, as the time has been reserved for you.
